This theme makes me think of Picasso and cubism movement. Lines create a whole picture, send messages and make us dream. They speak to me in an unknown language, creating an imaginary world, where reality is the illusion I choose to envision.
I know most of the photos I take are an exercise to become better, to discover new tricks. Every day I’m learning something new and that is thrilling. I’ve also discovered cropping is an important tool in photography. Thant’s what Cee’s Compose Yourself Photo Challenge points out this week. My attempts with cropping didn’t go as planned, but I like some of the results:
I am pleased with this crop
I found the design of the bench really interesting.
“I am fundamentally an optimist. Whether that comes from nature or nurture, I cannot say. Part of being optimistic is keeping one’s head pointed toward the sun, one’s feet moving forward. There were many dark moments when my faith in humanity was sorely tested, but I would not and could not give myself up to despair. That way lays defeat and death.” ― Nelson Mandela
The world is a beautiful place. We just have to open our eyes and see it. And the moment we acknowledge that, we become at peace with everything. We become optimists.
